How we eliminate ticks - 5 steps:

We determine how long the tick problem has been present and whether the area has been mowed. Low grass (5–10 cm) is essential for the property to be properly treated.
We schedule a convenient time for your tick control service, taking into account the weather forecast (no imminent rain before treatment).
Before our visit, you must clear the area of cut grass and debris to ensure the treatment reaches the soil. If you have pets, it is advisable to treat them against ticks as well to prevent reinfestation!
Our team arrives and treats the entire area, using professional equipment to ensure full coverage of all grassy surfaces.
After tick treatment, the area must not be entered for at least 1 hour until it dries. For optimal results, the area should not be watered for the next 12 hours.

How do ticks reach us and in what ways do they pose a threat to our health?

Dangerous parasites such as pasture ticks and mites reach humans through our pets, as well as through pigeons and rodents that carry them into residential areas. Pigeons nesting in attics, along with mice and rats inhabiting poorly maintained basements and outbuildings, are the most common sources of ticks and mites in urban environments.

Ticks are extremely dangerous blood-sucking parasites, and their elimination often requires professional assistance from companies like Bran Insect, as they are carriers of some of the most severe and potentially fatal diseases, including Lyme disease, Mediterranean spotted fever, Q fever, tularemia, tick-borne encephalitis, and Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. Ticks parasitize a wide range of warm-blooded hosts, affecting not only humans but also pets, birds, rodents, and livestock such as sheep, horses, and cattle.

Attention: A bite from a pasture tick cannot be confused with that of other insects, as this parasite remains attached to the host's body. Removing a tick is difficult and risky, as improper removal may cause the head to break off and remain embedded under the skin, potentially leading to infections and disease transmission.

If you notice a tick on your skin, you should seek medical attention immediately. In a medical facility, the parasite will be removed properly, and if necessary, you may also receive vaccination against certain serious diseases it can transmit.

How can you increase the effectiveness of tick and mite treatment?

Thoroughly clean the area to be treated from dry twigs, branches, grass, and leaves
Mow the grass in the areas to be treated to a low height - no more than 5-10 cm
Ensure free access to all areas inhabited by people and pets
Do not water the grassy areas 1 hour before and after the treatment

Important: It is advisable to carry out tick and mite treatment over a wider perimeter (at least 2 m around the treated area), which is why surrounding zones should also be mowed and cleaned. This will make tick extermination much more thorough and effective. The first tick and mite treatment is best performed in early spring, when their breeding season begins, and the last one at the end of autumn.

What guarantees do we provide for the control of pasture ticks and mites?

Our company provides full guarantees for the quality of tick treatment, thanks to the high-grade professional products and methods we use. When treating green areas with grass up to 10 cm in height, we guarantee the elimination of 100% of the tick population within 1 hour after spraying.

We cannot guarantee maximum success with a single treatment if, for example, tall and dense grass has not been removed or there are piles of branches present. In such cases, it is impossible to provide full guarantees, as some ticks may remain hidden under vegetation or debris, preventing the product from reaching them.

The Ministry of Health recommends treating against pasture ticks (pasture mites) twice a year. However, based on our professional experience at Bran Insect, we have found that in areas inhabited by stray animals or located near fields and wooded regions, monthly treatments are advisable. This is because frequent rainfall, as well as strong sunlight and dust, can reduce the effectiveness of even the most advanced products.

How should you proceed when treating residential areas?

After treatment against ticks and mites, the помещения should remain closed for at least 1 hour. Before reoccupying them, it is mandatory to ventilate thoroughly for a minimum of 15 minutes.
